NXP推出射頻轉(zhuǎn)換元件-BF1108
恩智浦半導(dǎo)體射頻轉(zhuǎn)換元件(BF1108)的推出,提供了家庭用戶一個(gè)聰明既簡易的節(jié)能方式,當(dāng)天線訊號(hào)通過相關(guān)的錄制裝置(例如DVD-R、HDD-R、VCR 或 DVR)連結(jié)時(shí),人們通常讓裝置處于待機(jī)模式,避免失去電視的訊號(hào)。在采用了BF1108作為射頻轉(zhuǎn)換的功能后,在關(guān)掉錄制裝置的電源時(shí)仍能保有天線訊號(hào),同時(shí)可以繼續(xù)收看電視。通過這個(gè)方式,不僅可以節(jié)省能源,也可節(jié)省一筆金錢的支出,假設(shè)將錄制裝置電源關(guān)掉平均每年可節(jié)省$4美金,平均每臺(tái)錄制裝置可使用壽命5年,若每臺(tái)裝置配有一顆射頻轉(zhuǎn)換元件(BF1108)的話,即可節(jié)省$20美金的支出。全球目前有超過4千萬臺(tái)的錄制裝置,預(yù)估將帶來將近8億美金的效益。

How:
At the moment the recording device is powered on, the BF1108 opens allowing the RF signal to travel to the recording device and then on to the TV tuner. When the recorder is turned off, the BF1108 closes, looping the signal directly to the TV tuner. Reception remains constantly fed to the TV.
Energy saving:
NXP has sold more than 75 million BF1108 devices over 10 years. At the beginning of that time, a recording device in the standby mode consumed on average 50 kWh of power a year. Over time, recording devices have improved on energy consumption, but still use about 10 kWh a year in standby mode alone. Assuming that a recording device lasts for about 5 years, the energy saving total is easily calculated. In total, the BF1108 already saved almost 4,000 GWh, which is the equivalent of the yearly energy consumption of more than 1 million households in Europe. It also saved consumers in total almost $ 800.000.000 (based on European energy cost prices). The sales of our BF1108 continue to grow strong, selling 25 million pieces in 2008. The energy saving of these types has yet to start!
